Phantom
Technologies™ Ss3® Processors
In the beginning, there were records, magnetic tape decks, and large vacuum
tube amplifiers that consumers used to listen to their favorite recordings
in the comfort of their living rooms. These days, we have the ability
to take the equivalent of all this equipment anywhere we want along with
10,000 songs all on a device that’s not much larger than a pack
of chewing gum. However, the one thing that digital audio formats have
not been able to reproduce is the warmth, richness and fidelity of analog
recordings on vinyl and magnetic tape. Until now.

Phantom Technologies Ss3® audio signal processors are the CE industry’s
first affordable audio enhancement solutions designed specifically for
portable audio devices. During the process of compressing music into a
digital format (CDs, MP3s, DVDs, etc.) spatial characteristics of the
music along with certain background voices and instruments are masked.
Phantom Technologies’ Ss3 circuits restore this latent information
to re-create studio-quality sound and provide the listener a rich, immersive
listening experience much like you’d hear in a live performance.
The vast array of mobile devices flooding the market is creating built-in
demand for the high-fidelity quality consumers already expect from their
systems at home. In order for the portable audio market to maintain its
rapid growth, it will be paramount that the audio quality improves as
manufactures add features and functionality. In short, Phantom Technologies
has developed the only technologies available to meet this unmet need.
While there have been many computer plug-ins and home stereo components
that provided enhanced sound, none have ever been made portable. The Phantom
Ss3 processors are designed from the ground up to be small, inexpensive,
with low power consumption, allowing it to attach to or be embedded into
portable audio devices, headphones, PC speakers, PC sound cards, and other
small devices. The Ss3 processor also makes a noticeable improvement on
additional forms of audio including video games, phones and voice.
